Lisbeth sketch (Sword Art Online)

Lisbeth, the lovable, yet neglected, blacksmith side character from Sword Art Online I sketched her with a 2H pencil, but unlike my other sketches, I used references for this one. [link] [link]

It was simply too hard to try to remember such a complex character design without a ref. Plus, I think it allowed me to do a better job.

I wish she'd be in the show more... she was in like all of two episodes in the SAO arc, hopefully she'll be in ALO more.

I did wonder one thing after drawing this though: Why does she have one leg-band on just below her skirt? She has no socks, it's just one elastic thing, for no reason at all. I guess she wants to call attention to her legs? I dunno.
