I finally broke 100 Watchers
I'm pretty happy about that! I also hit over 8,500 pageviews, so that's cool, too. I know I have a looong way to go before I'm actually a "good" artist (or at least, I'm satisfied with where I am skill-wise, although I have to admit that Porsche drawing made me pretty darn satisfied for once), but I feel like this is a big milestone for me.
I feel kinda bad for my newer Watchers, because I'm barely putting any work out there (curse you, academic treadmill of college homework) but I will have more eventually, I promise
I have so many ideas for things I want to do (more ideas than I've had at any time since I started drawing again last summer, probably), I just can't get the time to work on any of them!
Anyway, thanks to all my Watchers for their support, you guys rock
Hopefully I can put some stuff out there soon (that you'll like)!
(P.S. I've been watching a Miyazaki movie every weekend for about a month now, and I have to say they're massively inspiring as an artist. To see these wonderfully creative and beautiful scenes get so perfectly animated and placed into heartwarming stories is just awesome and fills me with inspiration. For those of you that are curious, I've seen Spirited Away (my favorite), Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, and Princess Mononoke so far.)
(P.P.S. I was also thinking about offering bookmark commissions for points, so that I could buy some prints and commission a few people, but the commission tool on here takes a massive chunk of your earnings out (I'd have to charge $25 to make $20!?) so if/when I offer them, I'll put info in a journal. I figured this might be a cool thing for people because I can do them quickly (and ergo cheaply) and they would actually get the physical art in the form of the bookmark shipped to them, which is pretty cool, I think.)
